5 My family and I had the best experience in Valparaiso at Chez Gerald newly owned and a new delicious menu! This restaurant it is a MUST TRY... everything we ordered was really good from the appetizers to dessert. Our server José was really kind and patient with us and answered all questions, gave us recommendations and really attentive at all times. The restaurant is beautifully situated right in front of the beach where you can see the sunset and ocean.

5 Today May 1,2024 we decided to try this restaurant because we learned that it has a new owner and we had a really nice surprise. We were immediately greeted with a smile and seated quickly at a table of our like. We ordered appetizer and several a dishes and we were all very satisfied with the flavors and presentation. The timing of our food was perfect and the owner Claudia came to our table to make sure that everything was good. What a nice change from the previous owners. This is going to be a top favorite of many people of Viña for sure. We will definitely visit Chez Gerald again!
4 Beautiful restaurant. We were part of a tour group of over 100 people. The food was excellent and the wine was wonderful. Service was good and the staff were friendly. It took several tries to get butter for our bread, otherwise the meal was a success.
